Website Development with solutions for non-profit organization.

Overview

Founded in 1967, the Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities
supports over 3700 people to live, work and learn successfully in their
community. They support and provide services through partner agencies or
directly provided by their Board.

The Challenge

Lion + Panda supported Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities in
a new website rebuild in partnership with our now subsidiary – RubyHaus.
We were responsible for developing a new website and custom
provider portal for improved accessibility and usability for their
various audiences.

The Solution

Lion + Panda designed a new website that focused on the navigation process that made locating resources much easier for each of the organization’s varied audience types. We implemented a custom solution for resource management and contact directories that improved the search function with added filtration, as well as a single source location to update all information that would propagate to other areas in the site.

Our team also developed a custom event calendar for their community events and a provider search tool that integrated with a custom provider portal to provide relevant information on local service providers. The provider portal was a custom developed tool for local providers to obtain relevant resources, updating provider information, and reviewing/applying to private requests for service opportunities in the community.

The Results

We continue to work with Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities
with ongoing support contract to handle issues and provide new functionality
as needed for both the site and the partner portal. We also provide secure
hosting for both sites.
